What Relationships And Dating At 25 Look Like
Is it okay for a 27 year old woman to date a 21 year old guy? | Yahoo Answers
Once upon a time or, like, four years ago , I was 21 years old, fresh out of a relationship and enjoying all the aspects of single-hood with my other single friends. While I did sneak in a date here and there but only on weekdays because I didn't want to waste my weekends on a pointless date , the last thing on my mind was getting serious with a guy. Not to mention, there's the bogus pressure of society reminding you that you're not getting any younger, and if you don't find a boyfriend RIGHT NOW, you're destined to die alone. They're getting serious. They're having better sex, they're shacking up, talking marriage; a few of them might be already engaged.

Sign in. The real rules about how old and young you can date. According to this rule, society should accept a 50 y e ar old man dating a 32 year old woman. A quick poll of my friends says otherwise. This made me wonder, does the creepiness rule actually reflect what is socially acceptable when it comes to age differences in dating?
So I am 21 an have been dating a 27 year old woman for a while now and I enjoy it a lot we have quite a bit in common, enjoy each others company, and have a large fondness for each other. The problem is I don't feel mature enough for her, granted I am still working through my life and getting it all on track, idk I just feel emasculated and kinda intimidated by her experience and maturity and I fear I will lose her. So how can I become more mature and less like a "kid" not only for her but for myself? And I want to be more independent and that she is really glad that I am working on it instead of pushing it aside. You're both adults now, so don't think in terms of "when I was a kid, she was a teenager".
