Alex Danvers is an individual who served under " Superman " in an alternate reality created by John Deegan. When Alex was seven years old, she and her parents went to Nagano, Japan for the summer. Alex was homesick, so one night a girl from the village helped her sneak down to one of the temples. Alex wrote a note and placed it in a crack in the wall in the hopes that it would come true.

Having their ups and downs, they always end up having each others back. From fighting aliens and humans to fighting about silly things in their everyday lives. But this episode was different. Alex wanted to share something with her sister, not knowing how she would react.
It was clear from its very first episode that Supergirl would never merely be a show about a bulletproof Kryptonian alien who saves the world on a daily basis. While there are plenty of audience members who purely watch it for the comic book, action-packed goodness which is perfectly okay , there are many more who are drawn to the series because of its strong representation of sisterly relationships, unwaveringly supportive friendships and occasional focus on career yeah, it even makes time for that. Above all else, however, Supergirl is unabashedly about finding yourself, whoever that may be.
