The best loadouts in Titanfall 2 are always circumstantial; they completely depend on what the player is trying to accomplish. Here are the best Titanfall 2 pilot loadouts to suit your preferred playstyle in your matchmaking games. Titanfall 2 is all about momentum, and nothing helps build it quicker than the Stim tactical ability. The Stim will jumpstart your momentum, and Fast Regen will ensure you can take as many fights as you need to. If you miss with the Kraber, you might not get a second chance. Take the Stim tactical ability to help with building momentum or the Pulse Blade to keep track of enemies, and take the RC as your primary.

The development team at Respawn Entertainment acknowledges that it might have made a mistake by removing the Capture the Flag mode from Titanfall on the PC and says that it is getting ready to reinstate the mode and make a number of other changes to improve the matchmaking experience in the long term. The company has devoted a long blog post to the issue in order to make sure that all members of the community who are upset and expressed their anger get a chance to understand the reasoning of the studio and how it is constantly aiming to improve the game. Respawn Entertainment explains the difference between using a classic server browser and the automated matchmaking it has created for Titanfall and how the Microsoft-powered cloud-based tech is designed to make the process quick. They explain that, "While there isn't anything inherently wrong with a server browser, we've chosen to take the onus of finding a good match off the player. The ideal goal of a good matchmaking system is to have a complete view of all currently joinable games to find you the perfect match.
Chris Thursten questioned Titanfall's staying power in his review back in March, and that staying power is unlikely to be invigorated by Respawn's decision to remove the Capture the Flag and Pilot Hunter modes from the PC version of the game. Well, that's not entirely accurate - they've removed both modes as separate playlists, but they're still around in the Variety game mode, or if you decide to play a private match. The reason for their removal? They were "not widely used" in the PC version, causing "overlong wait times" for players who wanted to join. Removing said modes is one way to reduce wait times, I guess.

Pilots are rated by a series of qualifications called "Certifications", similar to a modern-day driver's license. These certifications apply in both civilian and military roles, qualifying a Pilot for a specific occupation such as salvage, deep-space search and rescue, shipping, loading, construction or agriculture.
